What Pretimectal is and what it is used for
This medicine is for use in adults, in combination with other medicines to treat angina pectoris (chest pain caused by coronary heart disease).

2. What you need to know before you take Pretimectal
Do not take Pretimetal:
if you are allergic to trimetazidine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
if you have Parkinson's disease: brain disease that affects the movements (trembling, stiff posture, slowing movements and tugging, unbalanced gait);
if you have severe kidney problems.
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Premimectal.
This is not a remedy for angina attacks or for the initial treatment of unstable angina. This is not a remedy for myocardial infarction.
Tell your doctor in case of an angina attack. It may be necessary to carry out laboratory tests and change the treatment.
This medicine can cause or worsen symptoms such as trembling, stiff posture, slowing movements and tingling, unbalanced gait, especially in the elderly, which should be investigated and reported to your doctor who can do reassessment of treatment.

Children and adolescents
Premimectal is not recommended for children under the age of 18 years.

Other Drugs and Pretimectal
No interactions have been reported so far.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.

Premimectal with food, beverages and alcohol
The tablets should be taken with a glass of water while eating.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or are breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or plan to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Pregnancy
It is preferable not to take medicines during pregnancy. If you find you are pregnant while you are taking this medicine, talk to your doctor as it may only decide on the need for continued treatment.

Breastfeeding
Due to the lack of data on the emission of breast milk, breast-feeding is not recommended.

Driving and using machines
Premimect 35 mg may cause you to feel dizzy or drowsy, which will affect your ability to drive and use machines.

3. How to take Premimectal
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose of Pretimetal 35 mg is one tablet twice a day during a meal in the morning and evening.
If you have kidney problems or if you are over 75 years old, your doctor may adjust the recommended dose.

If you take more Premictal than you should
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

If you forget to take Pretimectal
Continue treatment as usual. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

If you stop taking Pretimectal
Not applicable.

4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
Common (affects less than 1 user in 10):
dizziness;
headache;
stomach ache;
diarrhea;
indigestion;
nausea;
vomiting;
rash;
itching;
hives;
feeling weak.
Rare (affecting less than 1 in 1,000 patients):
accelerated or irregular heartbeat (called palpitations);
extraordinary heart attacks;
accelerated heart rhythm;
drop in blood pressure when straightened, causing dizziness, mild stunning or fainting;
fainting (general malaise);
dizziness, falling;
reddening of the face.
Not known (frequency can not be estimated from the available data):
Extrapyramidal symptoms (abnormal movements, including shaking and twisting of the hands and fingers, twisting movements of the body, instability of the gait and general stiffness of the arms and legs), which are usually reversible after discontinuation of treatment;
Sleep disorder (insomnia, somnolence), constipation, severe generalized redness of the skin with blistering, swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue and throat, which may cause swallowing and breathing difficulties;
Extremely low white blood cell counts, making infections more likely to decrease platelet count, increasing the risk of bleeding or bruising;
Hepatic disease (nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, general malaise, fever, itching, yellowing of the skin and eyes, brightening, bleaching of the stools, dark urine coloring).

How to Store Premimectal
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store below 25 ° C.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.
The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not dispose of medicines in the sewage system or in the household waste container. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. These measures will help to protect the environment.

What Pretimectal contains
The active substance is trimetazidine dihydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, povidone K30, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, xanthan gum, microcrystalline cellulose, Opadry 03B84788 pink, hypromellose E464, titanium dioxide E171, macrogol 400 and red iron oxide E172.

What Pretimectal looks like and contents of the pack
Premitmect 35 mg modified-release tablets are pink, round, biconvex, embossed "35" on one side and smooth on the other side.
Packages of 30 and 60 tablets.
Not all packs may be placed on the market.
