Dermodrin Ointment 30g.

Composition

1g ointment contains 20mg of diphenhydramine hydrochloride and auxiliaries: methyl parahydroxybenzoate 0.0015 g, peanut oil, bleached wax, cetyl alcohol, solid paraffin, white petrolatum, glycerol, ceteareth-3, polysorbate 80, isobornyl acetate, sodium hydroxide, purified water . Cooling antihistamine ointment for application to the skin.

Way of acting

Difenhydramine hydrochloride, the active ingredient of Dermodrine, has been tested for antihistamine and antiallergic anti-itch and for local pain relief in allergies and skin diseases. It is also suitable for use in insect bites, mild burns and sun allergy as well as in skin hypersensitivity reactions.

Dermodrine ointment as an emulsion of fat in water acts pleasantly cooling, thereby relieving the pain. It causes a reduction in allergic swelling of the skin or prevents it. Dermodrine ointment is intended for outdoor use.

The creamy shape, odorless and non-irritating, is rubbed and distributed easily on the skin. The effect occurs shortly after application and lasts for 2-6 hours.

Indications

Dermodrine Ointment is indicated for the treatment of pruritus, local aches and skin hypersensitivity reactions in:

- dermatitis, urticaria, pruritus, eczema, itching of wounds and scaling;

- insect bites;

- slight burns, sunburn;

- itchy skin rashes after exposure to sunlight (sun allergy).

Hypersensitivity to diphenhydramine hydrochloride, to other antihistamines or to any of the other ingredients of the medicine. Dermodrine ointment should not be used in neonates and children under 2 years of age. Dermodrine ointment should not be applied to open wounds or mucous membranes, and should not be used in large-area skin changes, in irritated and injured skin, especially in patients with varicella, measles, and blistering of the skin.

Dermodrine ointment should not be used in the first trimester of pregnancy. During the remaining period of pregnancy, use on large surfaces should be avoided, especially on irritated and injured skin.

Dermodrine ointment should not be used during breast-feeding as the active substance (diphenhydramine) passes into breast milk.

Precautions for use

The product should not come into contact with the eyes.

The treated areas of the skin should not be exposed to sunlight for long periods, as hypersensitivity reactions to light may occur. If complaints persist or when the expected success of treatment is not achieved, it is advisable to seek advice from a doctor.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children!

No interactions with other medicinal products have been observed since using Dermodrine Ointment.

When using on large surfaces, possible interactions can not be ruled out, so please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.

Dosage and route of administration

If the physician has not prescribed anything else, apply the amount of cherry to Walnut Nut (corresponding to 1-3 g) according to the size of the treated area on the affected area of the skin.

Adults: Apply 4-6 times a day.

Children: Only 4-5 times a day.

If complaints do not improve after two weeks of continuous use, you should tell your doctor. No overdoses of Dermodrin ointment have been reported so far. If swallowed Dermodrine ointment, contact a doctor immediately.

Dermodrin ointment is well tolerated. Rash, redness, blistering, swelling, allergic skin reactions and increased sensitivity to sunlight (to avoid direct exposure to sunlight) may occur rarely.

Single cases of hypersensitivity reactions, skin rashes and excitability (anxiety, cramps) have been reported, especially in children. In such cases you should discontinue treatment and inform your doctor immediately.

Please contact your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any complaints during treatment with Dermodrine Ointment that are not described in these instructions for use.

Observe the expiry date indicated on the packaging and do not use after that date.
