What Angal is and what it is used for

Angal is a topical drug in the oral cavity and pharynx.

It has an antiseptic effect and a local analgesic effect.

Angal is recommended for:

Treatment of symptoms of red, sore throat, pharynx and oral cavity, accompanied by irritation such as inflammation of the gums, oral mucous membranes and aphtha;
In cases of bacterial infection accompanied by high fever, additional treatment is needed;
Angel Menthol does not contain sugar, which makes it suitable for diabetics.
2. What you need to know before using Angel Menthol

Do not use Angal

If you are allergic to chlorhexidine gluconate or lidocaine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
Children under 6 years of age.
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Angel
Angal Menthol should not be used for long periods of time with or without interruptions. Use should be limited to the necessary attainment of pain relief and irritation;
Avoid contact with eyes, ears and skin. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water;
In case of overdose (more than 1 pack daily) there is little risk of reducing control of the swallowing reflex;
Take care of children with a history of seizures. This medicine contains levomenthol;
Angal Menthol contains alcohol and levomenthol. Please read also "Angel Menthol contains levo menthol and alcohol";
If you are taking other medicines, please see "Other medicines and Angel Menthol". Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if any of the warnings listed apply or have been treated with you, albeit in the past.
Children
Do not use this medicine in children under the age of 6 years.

Other medicines and Angel
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
Do not use at the same time as other disinfectants.

Angal with food, drinks and alcohol
No special precautions are required.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or are breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or plan to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Angel Menthol contains alcohol. Please see: "Angel Menthol contains levo menthol and alcohol". If the listed precautions and warnings are met, Angel Menthol can be used during pregnancy and lactation. Tell your doctor that you are taking this medicine.

Driving and using machines
No special precautions are required.

Angel Menthol contains levo menthol and alcohol
Angal Mentol contains levo menthol: be careful when used in children with a history of seizures.
Angal Menthol contains alcohol (44.4% (v / v) ethanol) ie more than 180 mg for 5 sprays equivalent to 4.5 ml beer or 2 ml wine for 5 sprays. This can harm patients suffering from alcoholism. This should be considered in pregnant, nursing, pediatric and high risk groups such as those with liver disease or epilepsy,

3. How to use Angal

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine should not be used for a long time. Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not respond or get worse after 3-4 days.
Point the applicator to the pharynx and press the spray pump.

The recommended dose is:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 3 to 5 sprays, 6 to 10 times a day.

Children over 6 years old: 2 to 3 sprays, 3 to 5 times a day.
Do not use this medicine in children under the age of 6 years.

If you use more than the required dose of Angel Menthol
The risk of overdosing is very small when used correctly.
Symptoms of overdose are: fatigue, tinnitus, difficulty in breathing, heart rhythm disturbances, impaired swallowing control.

If you forget to use Angal
Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

If you stopped using Angal
No special measures are required.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

Very rare: allergic reactions to the skin and mucous membranes;

Exceptionally, changes in taste, burning sensation in the tongue or severe allergic reactions (anaphylactic reactions) may occur;
Prolonged and continuous use can cause brown tooth coloration, which is transient and reversible.
Reporting of side effects
If any of the side effects gets serious, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
How to Store Angal

Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store below 25 ° C.
Do not use Angel Menthol after the expiry date which is stated on the carton / label after EXP. The first two symbols indicate the month, the next two or four characters-year. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Angel Menthol can be used up to 3 months after the first opening.

Do not dispose of medicines in the sewage system or in the household waste container.
Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. These measures will help to protect the environment.

What contains Angal

The active substances are: chlorhexidine digluconate 2 mg / ml and lidocaine hydrochloride 0.5 mg / ml.
The other ingredients are: ethanol, glycerol, anhydrous citric acid, levomenthol, cinnol, saccharin sodium, purified water.
