DE-NOL. 120 mg.40 tablets
The active substance is dried colloidal bismuth subtsitrat / CBS / (colloidal bismuth subcitrate - CBS). Each tablet contains the active substance, equivalent to 120 mg of bismuth trioxide (bismuth trioxide) / Bi203 /.
After the adoption of De-Nol bismuth compounds formed in the acidic environment of the stomach reacts with plague, forming a protective layer that separates it from the aggressive factors and creating conditions for its recovery. De-Nol increases local prostaglandin levels. In vitro and in vivo De-Nol is active against Helicobacter Pylori, a micro-organism that is closely associated with ulcer recurrence and that causes chronic gastritis. Eradication of Helicobacter Pylori lead to prolongation of remission of peptic ulcer improved histology of gastritis and relief of dyspepsia.
Since De-Nol is a locally active agent, its activity is not dependent on its pharmacokinetics. In fact, CBS is not rezobriba as such. During terabiyata small amounts of bismuth, however, derived from CBS is absorbed. These quantities in urine and blood, rapidly decreased after treatment discontinuation. The main quantity of the bismuth is excreted in the feces.
Peptic (gastric and duodenal) ulcers. Chronic gastritis. Dyspepsia.
De-Nol is contraindicated in severe renal impairment
If your doctor advises otherwise - two tablets half an hour before breakfast and half an hour before dinner with a glass of water. Alternatively, three times per tablet half an hour before each meal and one tablet before bedtime. Thus De-Nol may be given a maximum eight weeks. Before the next course of treatment should be an interval of eight weeks, during which should not take bismuth-containing preparations.
There is little information on the use of De-Nol during pregnancy and lactation and possible harmful effects, although animal studies have not shown evidence of any such effects. Prolonged use of certain bismuth compounds in high doses is not recommended, as this leads to reversible encephalopathy. The possibility of this happening when using the De-Nol is extremely small, if used as recommended. It should simultaneously take other bismuth-containing preparations.
May appear tan stool as a result of the formation of bismuth sulfide, which can easily be distinguished from melena. It also reported nausea and vomiting. These effects are not dangerous and disappear after cessation of treatment.
No other drugs, food or drink should not be consumed half an hour before or after a dose of De-Nol, since theoretically there is potential for interaction and neutralization reaction with the plague. Absorption of tetracycline may be reduced if given concomitantly with De-Nol.
Acute massive overdose may lead to reversible renal failure with a delayed onset to 10 days. In all such cases it is necessary to immediately begin treatment with gastric lavage and repeated doses of activated charcoal suspension, combined with laxatives. Should monitor the level of bismuth in blood and urine and renal function. Further treatment is mainly symptomatic. When you need to keep in mind chelate treatment Dimercaptosuccinic acid (dimercaptosuccinic acid - DMSA), followed by dialysis.
